Volunteers are NEEDED for Junk Jaunt Food Fundraiser
Plan NOW to help! Sept. 22 – Sun. 25
Need volunteers for pie makers, Thursday sack fillers, Thursday outside setup, Friday and Saturday helpers (even for a couple of hours), Sunday cleanup after church. Please see Gary Harders for outside help and Peg Lemburg for everything else.

Sunday School Begins – Sunday September 18th
Today the Sunday School teachers will be installed during worship along with the distribution of Bibles to the 1st Graders and Bibles and Catechisms to the 5th Graders. Following Worship everyone is invited to stay for food and fellowship as we celebrate RALLY Day and Family Game Day with Games and Potluck Dinner.

On Monday, September 12th from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, the Heartland Lutheran National Honor Society Students will be hosting a Blood Drive for the Red Cross. Please consider coming in to make a donation and helping them reach their goal of over 30 usable units –reaching 30 usable units will make HLHS students eligible for a Scholarship through the Red Cross. Your donation will not only help the Community but HLHS students as well.   Please sign up online, via the Blood Donor App, or contact the HLHS office at 308-385-3900 for a donation time.
