Sunday School Begins – Sunday September 12th
On Sunday September 12th Sunday School teachers will be installed during worship along with the distribution of Bibles to the 1st Graders and Bibles and Catechisms to the 5th Graders.
Following Worship everyone is invited to stay for food and fellowship as we celebrate RALLY Day and Family Game Day with Games and Potluck Dinner.
**Sunday School Offerings for the 2021/2022 school time will go towards the Cairo Community Food Pantry. Each Sunday the Children are asked to bring their money offering or a nonperishable food item.

Would you like a piece of CLC History?
Some of the old bricks from the bell tower renovation were saved. All FREE WILL donations for the bricks will go towards the Stained-Glass Window Fund.

Old Wood Tables – Free Will Donation
There is one old heavy wood table left in the fellowship hall, the church is asking for a free will donation for it. All donations from the tables will go towards the Stained-Glass Window Fund.

Women’s Bible Study
There are plans of starting up the women’s bible study in September. The plan is to have daytime and evening studies. Please let Jenny Reynolds or Taryn Wright know what day/time works best for you.

PRAYERS THIS WEEK
  Prayers for Dan Dibbern recovering at home.
  Please keep Dave Rasmussen in your prayers. Dave is recovering from valve replacement surgery.
  Please keep Chandler Keezer, student of Taryn Wright’s in your prayers.
  Please keep Helen Brandt, mother in law to Beth Ann Brandt who works at ABC Daycare, in your prayers. Helen had a colonoscopy and they found cancer.
  Please keep Gene Pesek, Jim Schultz & Cathy Garrett’s brother in law, in your prayers. Gene has been diagnosed with Leukemia.
  Please keep Mark Lammers, Peg Lemburg’s brother in law in your prayers Mark Lammers, Mark needs a new heart and kidney. He lives near the Houston, Texas area and is currently in the hospital waiting for a donor. It so happens there is a possible donor who has not yet passed that may be a candidate for this double transplant. Please pray for this family who will lose a loved one, for my brother-in-law, and for all the doctors and nurses who will possibly do this procedure. Please also pray for my sister, Paula, and all of her family. UPDATE Mark had the heart transplant yesterday and today he underwent the kidney transplant. 
  Please keep Bill Kerr, father to Taryn Wright’s friend, in your prayers. Bill was recently diagnosed with cancer.
